Well as most of you may have read on Jay Marcy's post the fan expo was a good time for all. Many thanks to the regulars who stopped by and bought my new book: "Me,Mysel and I" as well as the first timers who plunked down hard earned cash for my stuff!

Hey there kids!

Just a quick note to let you know that the new book is done! Jay finished it last night!
I should have a proof copy in my hands by the end of next week.

Well fuck me, another comedy legend has departed us. George Carlin is dead at the age of 71.  First Harvey coreman and now George Cariln.  Man it just doesn't possible...or fair for that matter. What can you say about one of the funniest men to ever have walked this planet?  

Why does it seem like all the mother fuckers who cause us pain in this world are still breathing and the people who bring us joy, like Jeff Healey are taken from us so soon...TOO soon.  I hope some cock sucker rapist-kiddie diddler mother fucker gets every kind of cancer there is!

So I get An e-mail from jaymarcy  who  offered to put   together a new book for me the up coming fanexpo in Toronto.  Back in 2001 I attempted to do a daily  journal strip: it lasted all of  14 pages before  I said fuck it!  Later on December of that same year, I tried again. The result was six  months worth of  strips of 2002.   So next month I haul my ass up to the "shwa"  and Jay and I will "hammer this bitch out"  as he put it.  It will  be  titled "Me,Myself and I"  Look for it kids!  See you

I know there are a lot of jadded comic readers out there who have l;ong discarded DC and MARVEL  long ago. in the 70's I read manly MARVEL  during the 80's I started picking up titles like the flash , teen titans etc.  in the 90's I went on a bender of nothing but indie stuff, pal Jason Marcy turned me on to a lot of  stuff.

Now I find myself coming full circle. I've been reading DC as of late and and really like it!  Most recenly death of the new gods. not a bad book. the art is a bit wonky at times but this most likely due to the fact that it's a by-weekly book so it was probably rushed. but a good read none the less.

Incase someone is actually out there reading this, you may have been asking yourself  " Where the fuck has Paul been lately?"  Well I haven't posted for such a long time because of some health reasons. this past september I was diagnosed with cataracts..in both eyes. ( no it's not something that only old people get. it can happen to anyone at any age. )   Needless to say things like drawing became a chore and I had to stop all together. as well as using the 
computer.  


On the 29th of October I went in and had my right eye done. My natural lens was replaced with an artifical one. This
is why I'm able to write this blog ( AS well as get back to drawing.) The vision in my right eye is  100% better. my left eye gets done on the 15th of this month. then once I get my new prescription for glasses There'll be no stopping me!
So that folks in a nut shell is where I've been thses past few months.
